Current Career/What are you doing now?

After having spent the summer enjoying the west coast and traveling, I've recently started an operations management position at a new hotel in the Flatiron district! I've been living in the city for a few years now, and am absolutely enjoying myself. Hospitality has become my passion, after falling in love with restaurants under the mentorship of Will Guidara and Chef Daniel Humm. With this new position, I have shifted my focus from food to hotels and am grateful to be in love with my work as well as, the challenges and pleasures that come with meeting new faces, managing a team and cultivating memorable experiences for my guests.

What is your favorite memory of the ABC Program?

My favorite memories of the ABC program were all spent with my sisters. From planning matching outfits, to taking turns doing each others hair to decompressing in our rooms from our very long and activity filled days until the absolute last MINUTE before 'lights out." I am grateful for the gift of sisterhood that I've been granted and fortunate to carry throughout the years!

Any advice for the current young women in RABC?

To the young ladies currently going through this experience during their most formative years, please remember to lend grace not only unto others but most importantly, yourself. Taking into account your indentity, the sacrifice(s) you've made and hard work you've put in to be "here," understand that your experience is one that is different from your peers. Do not be discouraged, be patient and kind to the #1 player, because she's got this.
