Ways to Support

There are so many ways to get involved — whether you have time, resources, or the desire to help. Explore the options below and find the path that’s right for you.

  • Volunteers are the heartbeat of RABC. From fundraising to transportation to behind-the-scenes support, we welcome individuals who want to make a difference.

    Volunteer opportunities include:

    • Driving or helping with transportation

    • Homework help or tutoring

    • Organizing scholar events or celebrations

    • Assisting at fundraisers or tabling events

    Want to get involved but not sure where to start? Reach out — we’ll help find the right fit.

  • Our host families open their homes one weekend and one overnight a month to one of our Scholars— offering comfort, care, and connection outside the RABC house. Hosts are a vital part of each Scholar’s experience and often become lifelong extended family.

    What host families provide:

  • Each RABC Scholar is paired with a dedicated Academic Advisor who serves as a consistent source of academic guidance and personal support throughout their four years in the program.

    Academic Advisors:

    • Provide one-on-one academic support and help Scholars set goals and stay on track.

    • Monitor grades, progress reports, and school communication to ensure each Scholar is reaching their fullest potential.

    • Identify enrichment opportunities — from tutoring and test prep to internships and extracurriculars — that help Scholars grow beyond the classroom.

    • Serve as trusted mentors, offering encouragement, perspective, and advocacy every step of the way.

    This meaningful relationship helps Scholars feel seen, supported, and prepared to thrive in high school and beyond.
